Moving to Esperance

Esperance is a wonderful place to live, with exciting job opportunities and a warm, welcoming community.

Esperance’s isolation isn’t a barrier to high end facilities and services. The town is going through a period of growth and development, which includes a number of key facilities being upgraded, including the Esperance District Hospital and both private and public schools.

The business community is well serviced, and Esperance offers a wide range of exciting job and employment opportunities.

Esperance has a thriving community and the extensive sporting, arts and cultural groups are always welcoming new members. There’s something for everyone in Esperance, from football to photography, tennis to theatre, volleyball to ukuleles and everything in between.

Esperance experiences a varied climate, with warm, dry summers and cool, wet winters.

The Esperance Volunteer Resource Centre runs a “Community Connections” programme, which offers a free service to all new residents, providing information about your new town. For more information email communityconnections@esperance.wa.gov.au or call 08 9072 0346
