Esperance has the most stunning coastal scenery, with squeaky white sand and turquoise water. There are numerous beaches close to town, offering surfing, scuba diving and swimming. There are all sorts of different attractions and galleries to visit, including the Esperance Bird and Animal Farm, Section Glass Gallery, Mermaid Leather, Esperance Museum, the historic Museum Village, and Stephanie’s Studio. Visit Esperance Stonehenge, a complete replica of the original Stonehenge that stands almost 8m tall. If fishing and diving is more your style Esperance Diving and Fishing, Duke Charters and Black Jack Charters offer tours where you can throw in a line or dive down and see Esperance’s beautiful underwater scenery.

Esperance is an eight hour drive, 90 minute flight or 10 hour bus ride from Perth. The TransWA bus service travels to and from Esperance 6 days a week. Esperance has a Mediterranean climate, with warm, dry summers and cool, wet winters. The average temperature over summer is 26 degrees, and the average temperature over winter is 18 degrees.
