We are on the lookout for an Accounts Clerk to join our team. A Part time position, based in our office, of approximately 15 hours per week (mornings preferred). Whilst we prefer someone with the following qualities, we would look at a traineeship for someone entering the workforce and interested in finance.
• Competent ability to operate a computer (Microsoft environment)
• Verbal, written communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Eagerness to learn and be part of a team
• Integrity and honesty
• Exposure to various accounting programs
• Time management skills
• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (desirable)
The role involves:
• Working with various accounting programs
• Performing efficient and accurate data entry
• Scanning & Filing (hardcopy & electronic)
• Bank Reconciliation
• Preparation of month end reporting
• Communicating with clients and team members
• Assist with preparation of payroll (subject to experience and training)
• General administrative and office duties
