What is your top selling product?
Management Liability and Cyber Liability. A risk many businesses are not aware is
either insurable or think it is already insured under the Public Liability.
These products provide key coverages that is desperately needed if you are
operating a business today. Particularly with updated legislation around Work
Health and Safety and the Privacy Act.
Management Liability is a bundled product. It includes covers such as.
1. Directors & Officers Liability
(Wrongful acts alleged or committed by company or director)
2. Employment Practices Liability
(Employment wrongful acts – e.g., unfair dismissal, discrimination)
3. Crime
(Internal or external crime – e.g., employee theft / embezzlement)
4. Statutory Liability
(Wrongful breach of legislation)
5. Tax Audit
(Professional fees in relation to responding to a tax audit – e.g. accountant fees)
Cyber Liability in the current environment of majority of businesses working online or
remotely accessing client’s private information, or social engineering risks - this cover is key
to protecting your business.
It includes cover such as but not limited to;
Third Party Claims; Legal liability to third parties resulting from the failure to keep data
secure, such as claims for compensation, defence costs, investigations costs, and fines and
penalties incurred for breaching the Privacy Act.
First Party Costs; Covers costs incurred by the Insured to respond to the breach, such as IT
Forensic Costs, Credit Monitoring Costs, Public Relations Expenses and Cyber Extortion Costs
(Including ransom payments to hackers).
Business Interruption; Covers the Insured for loss of business income resulting from the
breach, including additional expenditure that the Insured may need to incur to resume
and/or maintain its normal business operations.
